Capabilities Video and CD-ROM
Co-producer of this exciting
7 minute overview of the company showcasing the depth and breadth of SAIC and
its subsidiaries. This has been a recurring contract, now in its 8th year.
Primarily a stock footage show, the main task of the producer each year is to
find the best and least expensive footage to tell the story. A small percentage
of specific location shooting is done each year in multiple locations around the
country. The show is edited in house at SAIC on a Media 100. The project has
expanded in recent years to include a CD-ROM, which won a Bronze MCA-I AiME
Award in 2000.

Group: Corporate Overview
Writer,
Producer, Director for this 8 minute video corporate overview of this publishing
company’s people and services. Green Screen interviews were combined with new
footage shot in 10 locations over 3 days.
Lockheed
Martin Astronautics: Video Tour of San Diego Operations
Produced and wrote this
short video tour of Lockheed Martin's San Diego Operations where they build
Atlas/Centaur tanks. The program uses ceremony and tour footage shot during a
roll-out ceremony for a new stretched Centaur. Some additional videotaping was
done to supplement. The show was conceived and delivered in less than two weeks.
Fleetwood
Enterprises (Image Dynamics): "Fleetwood at 50"
Produced, directed and
reworked script for this 12 minute retrospective of Fleetwood Motor Homes as
they passed celebrated their 50th Anniversary. Shot on BetaSP and edited on
Media 100, this program also incorporated numerous still photos captured to tape
using a computer motion controlled camera.
The Health
Network: Segments for "The Whole Woman"
Produced and created scripts
for 3 segments for Fox's The Health Network out of Orlando Florida. Footage was
gathered newstyle for all three segments over one weekend. A paper edit/script
was developed for editing at The Health Network.
Emerald
Publications: FocusOn: Retirement
Producer/Director for this
video overview of Retirement Planning designed to stand alone or be customized
for use by financial planners. New footage was shot on Digital Betacam in
numerous locations around San Diego with numerous actors to supplement existing
stock footage. Editing was done in-house at Emerald on a Media 100. Emerald
provides financial planners with a full range of proven financial marketing
systems, including videos, seminars and newsletters.
Mail Boxes
Etc.: MBE-TV Video Magazine
Producer/Director for the
first three shows of this new series of regularly scheduled video magazines for
viewing by MBE Franchise Owners. The basic format features an on-camera host
shot film style in a studio with edited location packages. One show was shot on
location at the International Conference in Las Vegas. MBE is an international
corporation headquartered in San Diego CA.

States Navy: FSC & You -- Ready for Anything
Producer, Writer and
Director for 27 minute overview of the Family Service Center designed to inform
customers and potential customers of the services available. This program,
although designed for the FSC at Naval Station San Diego, has been well received
by FSC's all across the country. In addition to 2 full days of location shooting
at FSC and aboard the Essex, large amounts of Navy Media Center, Navy Exchange
and NTPMSA stock footage was used. Editing was done at Lightning Corporation on
1".

Producer and Writer for
package of videos shown during this live three day event, consisting of short
motivational meeting openers, as well as assorted informational video clips.
